RuairĂ­ Power wins UCDSU presidential race by a landslide

All uncontested candidates for sabbatical positions beat Re-Open Nominations (RON)

UCDSU's Returning Officer announced over live stream that RuairĂ­ Power had won the presidential race, with a final tally of 1487 out of the 2127 votes cast.

In the contested college officer races, Miranda Bauer and Ronan Cloney won the two Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (AHSS) seats, and and Billy Egan won the position of Science officer. All uncontested candidates defeated RON.

This year's election saw a total turn out of 2245, up drastically from the historiclly low turn out of 975 in 2020, the first online UCDSU executive election.
