NAMSOC share their New Year's resolutions

What a term! With our winter formal with EngSoc, pub quiz, bake sales, weekly coffee mornings and our annual ball, we truly hoped we kept you entertained throughout the first part of term. NAMSOC is thriving and achieving more than we ever expected.  We've got a lot more in store for you this Christmas & New Years.

On the topic of New Years, NAMSOC’s new year's resolution is, drumroll please… to host an event at least every 2 weeks. Yes, you read that right! We have decided to double the fun - although this will stress the committee. NAMSOC is all about its members and we wouldn't be in this position without every single one of you, so this is our Christmas present to you! Clear your calendars and keep an eye on your emails, as we don’t want you to develop FOMO (fear or missing out) :(

Earlier this week I got the committee to tell me their New Year's resolutions, and I've decided to share them with the whole of UCD, with their permission of course.

Aliyah, Auditor: “To submit assignments on time and take good care of baby Chardonnay.”

Clíona, Treasurer: “To keep the bank accounts' vital signs stable for next year and be on time, maybe even early for things.”

Anna Scully, Senior Treasurer: “To help the society to get socialising again and... being kinder to myself and others.”

Aoife, Events Officer: “To learn to drive - stay off the roads kids!”

Nicole, Freshers Rep: “To continue to keep a positive mindset.”

Finally I would like to say a humongous thank you to all our members; the support and energy has been great, stay tuned next year for a huge surprise… shhhhh. Merry Christmas and a Healthy New Year !

Aliyah,

NAMSOC President
