Introducing .... UCD NAMSOC
Welcome to the UCD Nursing and Midwifery Society (NAMSOC), founded in the 20th century we are the No.1 NAMSOC in Ireland. We are the pulse of nursing and midwifery student life, bringing the fun from lecture halls to labour rooms.
We host loads of events throughout the year which will allow you to make the most of student life and meet new people. Honourable mention to our annual ball, which is making a comeback after three years. Our committee is already stacking the calendar with events that we guarantee you won’t want to miss.
Our members range from all streams of nursing and midwifery; General, Psychiatric/ Mental Health, Pediatric/ Children, C&G, and Midwifery. With nursing and midwifery being one of the most accredited courses in the world, you’ll be surrounded by the brightest and most inquisitive students, who are the future of the world of healthcare.
Tip for 1st Year: Your best friend in 1st year is going to be your email. It is so important to check your emails daily to make sure you’re up to date with everything that is going on. Also get out of your comfort zone and make new friends, friends make university life so much easier. Most importantly stay hydrated! It wouldn’t be a NAMSOC post if we didn’t say this.
