Nominations are open for UCD annual President’s Awards

NOMINATIONS are now open for the UCD President’s Award for Excellence in Student Activities 2016/2017.The award is given as recognition to those students whose extracurricular activities have added excitement, interest, and dynamism to UCD life, study, and work. This year will be the twenty-fifth year of the President’s Award scheme. Since the awards began almost 300 UCD students have been recognised for their achievements in the university.Both staff and students can nominate candidates for these awards. You can nominate a student by filling out the form found at this link.Nominations close on the 25th of January 2017, only two days after students have returned to campus. In 2015, nominations were open until the 16th of February – the fourth week of semester 2. Although at this time, however, there was no option to make a nomination through an online form.
