Deputy Editor Lucy Warmington highlights how the James Joyce Library is celebrating Black History Month
UCD’s James Joyce Library is celebrating Black History Month with a month-long spotlight display, featuring books on the Black experience. Genres range from fiction, to history, arts, social sciences, and music.
The display includes ‘How to be an Anti-Racist’ by Ibram X. Kendi, ‘Girl, Woman, Other’ by Bernardine Evaristo, and ‘Homegoing’ by Yaa Gyasi, among others. Archived materials from UCD Special Collections are also featured. The display can be found in the James Joyce Library, located to the left of the entry turnstiles, and will remain until the end of October. To find out more, visit libguides.ucd.ie/spotlight
