Ireland's lineout has been good, as has there initial phase play, but have repeatedly coughed up silly penalties, uncharacteristic knock-ons and some miscommunication. They are getting themselves into good positions, but their execution is really letting them down.
Australia, to their credit, have been very good this afternoon so far. They appear to be reading Ireland's attack well and have been smart in defence to snuff out any real threats, with the exception of the build up to Josh van der Flier's try.
Ireland could very easily be further behind on the scoreboard, and will no-doubt get a stern talking to from Andy Farrell at half time.

Ireland will be looking to end their Autumn campaign on a high following last week's impressive 52-17 win over Fiji.
In Team News, Sam Prendergast retains the starting 10 jersey, and Bundee Aki and Robbie Henshaw partner up in the midfield after an impressive showing last week. On the bench, Cian Healy is set to break Brian O'Driscoll's appearance record this afternoon, a truly special achievement.
Jack Crowley will be keen to impress off the bench this afternoon, as he is wary of a confident Sam Prendergast. The Munsterman enjoyed a rest week against Fiji, but will be eager to make an impact from the bench.
