The Irish Film and Television Awards celebrate the very best the Irish film, television and drama scene has to offer.
The Irish film scene is producing an ever-increasing number of beautiful, nuanced and evocative motion pictures year-on-year. To reflect this, for the first time in its 17 year history, the IFTA Film & Drama Awards have split the Best Film nominations in two; Best Film 2019 and Best Film 2020. In total ten films have been nominated this year. The 2020 IFTA awards ceremony is due to be held virtually in September.
