Charlie Kennedy runs us through some unmissable gigs happening in Dublin over the next month.

Some unmissable gigs taking place in our city over the next few weeks. Get yourself down to one or be a bore. 

26th March - Danny Brown - Olympia

After the release of his newest album Stardust last November, Danny Brown comes to Dublin showcasing his new electronic sound after an intense artistic evolution. Features on his new album include Frost Children and femtanyl.

3rd April - Thundercat - Vicar St

On the day his newest album Distracted is set to release, his first album in six years, the incomparable bassist Thundercat will show off on the stage at Vicar St. 

4th & 5th April  - Belle and Sebastian - Olympia

Glasgow’s own folk-pop icons Belle and Sebastian play two nights in the Olympia - first night playing through their 1996 debut Tigermilk, second night playing through their sophomore album If You’re Feeling Sinister. O how I wish I had a ticket. 

17th & 18th April - Madra Salach - Workman’s

Dublin’s own modern-folk band Madra Salach plays a two night stint in Workman’s as part of their ‘It’s a Hell of An Age’ tour. They have some great tunes. 

24th April - Grooveline - Button Factory

Hectic funk band Grooveline will bring chaos to the Button Factory in April after the release of their EP ‘Let it Rip’ earlier this month.
